- 1977-09-09 Young Dexter woman, 19, suffered serious injuries and was trapped in her car about 30 minutes when her eastbound 1977 Chevrolet slammed into the rear of a 1970 Chevrolet truck driven by Marlon Myers, 39, of Dexter, at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 1977 (accident date Sept. 8; masthead Sept. 9). Stoddard County Rescue unit responded; ambulance attendants and passersby summoned it.
