After a 14-hour spree of kidnapping, shooting and back-road chases through two counties, Cooper shot himself at 9:43 a.m. today and was rushed by ambulance to Dunklin County Memorial Hospital in Kennett; Dunklin County Sheriff Tom Crump recovered the gun Cooper allegedly used.
