Mrs. Jean Moroni, a young farm wife of Painton, was recently chosen outstanding homemaker by the Better Homes and Children Extension Club of Painton. She and husband Tom Moroni live on a farm near Painton with their sons David (11) and Steven (8). Jean was born and spent most of her life in Stoddard County; she graduated college and taught high school English at Richland for two years. She served as president of the PTO of Advance, is active in her extension club, and both boys help with her craft projects and Cub Scouts. The Morones are of Italian origin.
