- 1977-11-30 Don Cockrum, 66, of Long Prairie, Minn., died Thursday Nov. 24 of an apparent heart attack; husband of the former June Heath, who preceded him in death Dec. 27, 1968; preceded in death by his father Earl Cockrum, a former resident of the Bell City area; survived by one daughter Connie, one son Reo, his mother, a sister Jean, one brother Bill, and several nieces and nephews; funeral services held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Stephens-Hines Funeral Chapel in Long Prairie, with burial there.
