Cotton Boll area Girl Scouts hosted a Public Relations Workshop Saturday, Nov 5, planned and arranged by Beth Welborn of Bloomfield, for all area Senior Girl Scouts and school publication classes; Dexter Girl Scout Troop No. 228 conducted the opening flag ceremony. Guest speakers: Mike Shain (KFVS-TV announcer, Cape Girardeau), Stan Berry (photographer/news writer, Daily American Republic, Poplar Bluff), Edyth Davis (Public Relations Director, St. Francis Medical Center, Cape Girardeau), John Vasse (News Director, KDEX Radio).
